the sign on the fence said “Do Not Stick Your Head Between The Bars”… so Same obviously did his best to wedge his head between them, showing off as usual to his buddies.
when he couldn’t get back out, his buddies freaked out and ran away, leaving Sam on his own panicking… until the 3 Men who owned the property came out to ‘rescue’ him.
with military precision and not a word between them, they had Sam caged up, in their basement & the fence looking like nothing ever happened, in less than 15 minutes.
Sam never saw his buddies again, but he made a whole new group of ‘interesting’ friends that helped shape him into the fit, obedient slave he’d come to be.
